How to Install

1. Download the Xming installer from the link below and run it on your Windows PC.
2. Complete the setup wizard — install Xming-fonts as well if prompted or download it separately for full font support.
3. Launch Xming from the Start menu (it runs in the system tray with default settings).
4. In PuTTY, go to Connection > SSH > X11, check “Enable X11 forwarding”, and set the display location to localhost:0.0.
5. Connect to your Linux server via PuTTY and run any GUI application (e.g., gedit &) — the window will appear on your Windows desktop.
