VeroRoute is a free, open-source PCB layout and routing tool specifically designed for stripboard (veroboard) and other through-hole prototype boards. It provides an intuitive drag-and-drop interface for placing electronic components and automatically routing the connections between them on a virtual stripboard grid.
The software features a built-in auto-router that can automatically find optimal strip cuts and wire routes to connect your circuit components with minimal manual effort. This makes VeroRoute particularly valuable for hobbyists and makers who prototype circuits on physical stripboards before designing a professional PCB.
VeroRoute supports a growing library of through-hole and SMD components, and can export your board layout as an image for printing or sharing. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, making it accessible to electronics enthusiasts on any platform.
