GLMixer is a free, open-source real-time video mixing and processing application designed for live performance, VJing, and video art installations. It uses OpenGL hardware acceleration to mix, blend, and apply effects to multiple video sources simultaneously with very low latency.
GLMixer supports a wide range of video sources including video files, webcams, screen capture, and network streams. You can layer these sources on a virtual mixing surface, apply GLSL shader effects, control opacity and blending modes, and output the result to a projector or display in real time.
The application is designed for live visual artists, VJs, and interactive installation creators who need a powerful yet accessible tool for GPU-accelerated video mixing. GLMixer runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
