MathMod is a free, open-source 3D mathematical visualization software that allows you to render stunning implicit and parametric surfaces from mathematical equations. By simply entering a formula, MathMod generates interactive 3D models that can be rotated, zoomed, and explored in real time.
The software supports a wide variety of mathematical surface types, from classic shapes like tori and spheres to complex algebraic surfaces and fractal-like structures. Its built-in library of examples provides an excellent starting point for exploration, and users can define their own equations using the built-in scripting language.
MathMod is used by students, educators, mathematicians, and artists interested in the intersection of mathematics and visual art. The rendered surfaces can be exported as 3D models (OBJ format) for use in other 3D software or 3D printing.
